  • New tables needed

    Hi everyone,
our club in Germany wants to change the snookertables. Online I found on alibaba the company Shenzhen Xingjue Billards Co. Limited, does anyone now the company or ordered tables there? The table „XJ-12FT-SR3“ seems to be a topseller.
maybe some here have any experiences with the company or the table.
If anyone has other ideas, please let me know

    Paul

The budget is 5-6k each table, we need 5 tables

Can't comment on the site above, but I think the Rasson Sword tables are around 6k and with you requirements for 5 tables there may be a deal, I guess it depends on reseller availability.

Having owned Chinese made tables and an English made one I know what I would do.

I think Maryfield on here might be able to sort you out fully refurbished aristocrats for that type of money. Far better than star or rassons.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Thank you all for the information. I wrote a pm to maryfield yesterday, let’s see what he says.
i thought in the same way with the Chinese offers.
the difference in price is to big so it can’t be the same quality.

If that's possible for Germany, Mayfield and solid old hardwood tables is the way to go for sure. They will out last Chinese tables by decades.

Why have you got an Aristocrat or do you play on one Dean ?

Unfortunately I don't have my own table

If I did I would be in the market for an older table, Aristocrat or a Karnehm&Hillman

I have played on a few old tables as well as new over the years and the old'ns do seem to have something new tables don't.

At Frames I played on a TV setup Star, doubles lights, heating, pro cloth, fast and ok, but too hot for me. Then moved to an old table, much more pleasant experience.

As with nearly everything in snooker, usually comes down to personal preferences

Yeah i've played on the Star's in Coulsdon a few times, if memory serves me right the pockets were just a fraction more generous than WS tables.

Thanks for reminding me about them though as they had more space around them than the tables that instantly greet you as you come up the stairs.

I was keying in on the Dunstable club to possibly practice but Coulsdon has two train stations, Dunstable doesn't have any !

                        LOL

Only been there the once, helping the owner with something; IIRC the two Starr tables where ahead to the right a bit as you came through the double doors (Private room "behind" you. Marco Fu was playing that day.
There was a Chinese player (sorry did not recognise him) on the first Star, we took the second.
Bradley Jones was playing on the first table to the left and nearly all the tables disappearing into the distance were in use

I drove for an hour to get there, allowed to park out back

I've only played on 3 Star tables, none of them in their prime sadly, when they are not looked after they are quite unfriendly in the way they play ( ie old cloth, not properly releveled in maintenance etc)

Been to frames in coulsdon once only (bit of a trek over Dartford bridge etc) nice club and decent playing conditions on the heated tables, expensive but I guess you get what you pay for.

Yes I was talking to a former pro who said he practices on an Aristocrat in a house where a room or two was specially prepared to accommodate it, seems the best, easiest, most cost friendly and realistic way to go, of course if you've got the property to set it all up.

                              What’s about the Shender site?

                              Shender.com

The table are used in the IBSF world championships from 2010 on.
Does anyone played these tables or get involved when setting the tables up?

I wrote the Pascal Meubis aswell. His company based in Belgium and he does some table work in Germany for some clubs.

maryfield has answered fast and sent me some good pictures of their really good work.
