  • Setting up a snooker table in spare room

    Hi folks,

Long story short a constituent club has closed down near my area and I was a regular attendee there and have been offered one of there tables. One part of me wants to keep the table for myself but unsure whether the dimensions of the room will accommodate it as the room is around 20ft x 14ft.

I was thinking of doing the table up and selling it off but torn between the two options. Does anyone have any suggestions as a part of me really wants to keep the table for memories sake and to carry on playing as there isn’t anymore tables in my town.

I think 20 x 14 would be frustratingly too small.....

I went to a one table club where just one side was compromised...they had a selection of shorter cues but it wasn't fun.

not having a room/garden big enough is a blocker to many of us living the dream....

Real shame if losing last table in town

Yes that's my worry that it may be slightly to small, I'm going to look at the table again this weekend and make a decision.

Even if the table is slightly compromised, I think it would be worth the struggle as like I said no other tables in town.

      Appreciate the feedback.

This went through me like a knife as I am selling my house, complete with snooker room and table!
