You should post some pics !

I've got the space in the garden (200 foot garden which backs onto green belt). Just need someone to even out garden floor, concrete base and build the thing ! No idea how to go about it to be honest. Are these cabins bespoke made or a "kit" ? How much roughly ? anyone got a handy set of steps !!

It's my dream to have my own table in a games room at the bottom of the garden. Having seen a few members build there own I don't think this is beyond me, I look forward to one day sharing this with you all.
Oh that and winning the lottery

Well then Mick you can come and build one for me lol im just in Sunderland aswell.

I've got general joinery and carpentry knowledge but i think building something like that is behond my expertise to be honest

ive seen these on ebay, although quite pricey but seem very similar to Micks beauty

Yeah but to fit a full size table in you would need twice the length of that, so a lot more money than that

Yeah i know that you need at least 22x16

I've seen these too for £4,600 which includes delivery and installation. You can have a window installed too for a bit of light

Although not as nice and as good looking as Mick it would do the job

It seems zoelladen has not hit the required 10 postings for PM to work.

                          Looks fantastic...

Hi all - I'm new to this forum as have recently got the urge to get back into my favourite game (used to play for hours in my teens - highest break 87)

I am looking to build a shed/log cabin for a snooker table but do not know the minimum size for a table - I have been told by friends that minimum size should be 20ft x 15ft for a 10ft x 5ft table...However I would like a full size table. The maximum size I can build will be 15.5ft x 21ft - does anyone know if this is sufficient? Cheers...

You may be able to get away with that size but no smaller. Ideally you'd want a 22x16 giving you 5ft of space all round the table.

You could buy a shorter cue to have knocking about for the shots right against the cushion

                              Thanks...

I'll try and see if I can sqeeze the extra feet (by careful pruning of mature trees).
Got a quote of around 7k to build a log cabin (fully insulated etc) to house the table...plan to commence work within 2 weeks - can't wait...
Now I need to source a table - probably gonna cost me another 2k minimum...in all I'm probably looking at around 12k to have a fully fitted snooker room..ouch
                              ...but it'll be worth it

If I can't get the full size table due to space then I'll have to do with the 10ft x 5ft one..never played on this size before so don;t know if I'll be disappointed or not...

You can get tables for less than £2k. Decent ones too just check out eBay. I've seen people selling decent rileys for £800

In my opinion there's no point in spending all that money for a table that isn't full size. Even just an extra foot either side will do
