Looking for a few snooker tables (up to 5)

Hello,

I'm from Canada and looking to buy a few tables (up to 5). I'm currently looking for Aristocrat refurbished/used but it doesnt have to be Aristocrat, as long as its with somewhat the same basics standards (slate, steel-block).

I've been looking around the net and am currently in discussion with several places, inquiring about prices and so on.

I'm posting here as I've noticed (been lurking :P) that this forum has a good quality of members and I figured one or two might have a connection with a retailer or something in the UK, for example.

If anyone has any good sites to refer, retailers, people I could contact, I'd be very grateful.

The "lounge" we got is a pool/snooker club that currently has 20+ pool tables along with 5 snooker tables and other stuff.

Elston And hopkin have 4 riley aristocrat tables coming back into stock , these where renovated a year ago and rented out , that buisness did not take off ,so they are coming back in to stock with new shades ( light fittings)
if you wanted 5 then may I sugest one steel block match table to go with them , I am sure E&H could supply all 5 and arrange shipping .

Mark did you want all steel blocks ?

the 4 aristocrats are standard arisocrats , normaly in a club you would only have the match tables as steel blocks , it would be very unusual to have all steel block cushioned tables in a club .
that is why I suggested 4 of these and one Match table .
but you could have new steels on all 4 tables if that is the direction you want to take , Expensive way to furnish a club though .

that is why I suggested 4 of these and one Match table .

Depending on the price differential between steel/non-steel block, we'll see. But yes, the plan is to get 5 tables with steel-block. I guess it'll also depends on what I can find.

Can you tell me a bit more about Riley Aristocrat table? you mentioned "standard arisocrats" are these not steel blocks? So I guess there are different types of Riley Aristocrat table? I am so ashame as I happen to own a few of these tables but never really been so interested (as I am now) in knowing more about it.

yes standard Aristocrat's are normal cushions , match play Aristocrat is a steel block cushioned table .
Aristocrat is the leg and frame design .

for any one who cannot tell by pocket opening design and wood capping look for the following .

you can tell they are steel block cushions by sliding the cushion panel back if all cushions have 4 bolts then they shouldbe steel cushions .
if 6 bolts then standard cushions .

Somehow I missed your post regarding looking for tables completely. Odie Willet has 5 BCE Westbury tables with steel blocked cushions in stock now (I believe) but perhaps you've already found your tables as you asked in June.

Which club in Montreal? I know of the 147 with 4 tables, Montreal Snooker Club with 6 or 7 tables and Billard Au Coin with about 8 or 10 tables.

I hope you're getting the tables and are planning to hold some kind of tournaments as I would be sure to play if you do, just get me a hotel deal
