So many people now just join this forum to spam and sell their goods. Can they at least start their own threads?

Can you elaborate for me more, we are even expanding and buying new tables once every while, we own tables from UK as well as China, and I honestly tell you that I do not have the knowledge to observe how's one better than the other. Can you tell me what to look for to judge the quality of my tables? Hopefully, by knowing these, we can justify ourselves that the next batches of tables we looking for we will seriously considered those from UK. Many thanks.
I hope this is also of interest to the others on this topic and I do not get blame for posting irrelevant queries.
Hi Geoff Large,
First, i am sorry to post my ad here!! Could i pls the administer to delete it!!
Exactly China do have some famous brand of billaird tables,i am not sure if u know!! China do have high quality snooker and billaird tables at expensive price, but due to some reason the importer seldom buy these products.
We know clearly that the price decide and reflect the qualtiy!!
How could u say the Chinese tables are not good?
Anyway we still have many buyers from USA,Japan,Gemany,France, and so on!
From here, i really know something! thanks anyway!

This is a thread about something entirely unrelated to what you posted. What you did was called spamming. You have hijacked a thread to try to promote your product without any invitation. May be in China it is okay but in the Western world this kind of spamming post is considered very rude. It also makes you and your company look very unprofessional.
Just my humble opinion but if you think your tables are so good, please just post some pictures and introduce the benefits and features of your table--in your own thread in the appropriate section.

I am not attacking you in anyway just giving you my experience of chinese made tables that I have worked on and so my views are fact not deflamitry of chinese products in anyway , the quality of products I have worked on from experience and cost of these products ,can only relate to one thing poor materials used in construction and in some cases poor craftmanship .
I am sure there is a top end manufactureing of Snooker /Billiard tables in china as Star would not have got a foothold in tables they have sold to the govenring body , but I am guessing they have had to stump up a cash incentive to them to get these tables into the market place .
just as UK firms had to in the past suchs as riley or BCE , even in the late 1800s cash incentives to get tables to be played on was the norm , I guess the buying power of selling cheap low cost tables around the world as they also sell budget tables has given them the edge to outbid Uk firms .
nothing wrong with this as it is in the Govenring body to make as much cash flow as possible to safeguard their intrests .
But you cannot tell me that it is better to ship a table half way around the world to the uk and still beat uk prices and quality , china is now evolving and workers are on much more money than in the past , labour in china is not cheap anymore , and prices are getting higher .
A table imported into the Uk has to have import duty and taxes added to it .when you look at what is allready available in the UK these tables are not such a good buy unless you are compering to new prices , in which the low quality material and low craftmanship tables will no doubt attract a few buyers , but looking at Chinese top end tables then It is only the cash incentive to the governing body which keeps the table in the public eye , as stated before Thurston can produce a table made in the Uk for £8000 fitted . and with better materials and craftmanship . but thery do not have the cash flow to put this in the public eye by having them on TV .
Do you use any British made materials in the construction of chinese tables at the bottom end of the market such as Northern rubber , hainsworth or strachan cloths , UK made nets and leathers , or Belgium arimith balls , or because welsh slate is too expensive the next best slate is Italian slate and is used in uk made tables , in my experience on the low quality tables I have worked on, none of these where present unless converted or changed over by a UK fitter .
if you added these quality products to the costs of the imported tables then price would reflect this . and then people would get the full picture of quality of these budget tables .
an example this last week was chinese balls for a pool table lasted 2 weeks and they had lost all shine and where replaced by Arimith balls , the cushion rubber in the cushions was also not good and replacement cushions with northeren rubber was sourced and are to be fitted this weekend .
at the end of the day it is buyer beware , there is a poem that another poster wrote about the price of goods and the buyer being this mans prey ,the billiard fitter who taught me 36 years ago , had this poem on a plaque in his showroom/workshop for customers to read . and it is 100% true , I will have to dig it out and post it later on this thread .Last edited by Geoff Large; 21 September 2010, 08:22 AM.[/SIGPIC]http://www.gclbilliards.com

Hi, poolqjnkie,
Noted with thanks!
Many many times, i never attak others ,but when i receive attack from others whether or not i am familar with, i really feel sorry for what i have done!
In fact, when i find so many people attak me, i just want to keep silent. just feel at my heart that it is really wrong to post an ad here. How to solve it?
Initially I just want to make use of the topic ( who is the manufacture?),
it is my fault to spam here!:
Thanks for your kind advice anyway!
