    Thanks for your input Gerard,
I have tried a few fitting companies within say 30 miles of where i live but to no avail, yet!
Of course i offered them unpaid labour, helping fitters and so on just to get my foot in the door.
They have taken my details and maybe something may turn up in the near future. Who knows............
I hope something comes of it. It would be good to get in with a time served fitter as i did when i started in Carpentry & Joinery, my old boss was and still is a fine joiner for the last 40 years.

Did you ever travel to Ballina, Mayo? I used to play in the Savoy club for about 4 years. Its shut down now i think.

    Regards,
    Brian.

Its been yonks since I was in Ballina, I think the owners name was Brian Winters, I did one job there, but Ballina is 250 miles from where I live and I dont travel as much as I did then.
      Keep up your search

I can add strip club to that list too one in leeds where i left some tools and had to go back at night to get them back when the girls where performing of course and one in manchester .

But yes everything Gerard is saying is true once you are trained it is a Fantastic job to be in and you do get job satisfaction when you see the end result and feel ....I Did that

on traveling , I have fitted tables in France , Germany , Belgium , Switzerland ,Spain , Portugal and 2 of the Canary islands , as well as Guernsy and Jersey , isle of man and Ireland as well as all of UK ...so get youre passport ready if you do decide to take the plunge .

              hi brian
what kind of experience are you looking for?
would you be intrested in helping dismantle a full size table tomorrow not far from where you are?
