I always look on ebay for Bargains now and again and often come across tables that I have worked on in the past that are now for sale , the table I am going to give info on now has just been advertised on ebay but finnished without a bid on it .
About 15 years ago we had a client who came to us who had built his own full sized table useing brand new Italian slates , he was an engineer who lived in a Mill in Derby next to the river Derwent , we had the task of finnishing the table with new rubber ,cutt to templates and recovering it , everything else was made or finnished by the owner who was an engineer by trade , he had made a fantastic job of turning the legs and making the frame and cushions just by taking measurements from other tables , but had decided to let billiard fitters do the rubber and clothing .
sadly the Gentleman passed away and the table is now not being used , although it never got too much use when he was useing it and is in very good condition , it is by far a better build than any chinese or even some Uk made tables .

This would make an very good table for someone and the start price of just £400 is too good to miss , although some did ....i have advised them to readvertise it and i would make comments of the table on here just incase any of the forum members Fancy it , I can recommend it .
