Moths

I suspect some forum members are amused by my naive questions.

I used to think moths only ate clothes in stories in "Beano" and "Dandy". That was until I had some holes put in some very expensive knitwear! Do clothes moths ever attack table cloths?

I think it was Hunt & Winterbottom that used to have stamped on their cloth "Mothproofed", but that was yonks ago. I suspect there may be some Mothproofing included in modern cloths. Do Moths attack Billiard cloth ? ..... Yes they do !
Manys a cushion I removed and found dead larve (like little white worms) attached to the cloth where Moths have laid their eggs and a series of holes where the cloth was eaten.

I think it's the larvae rather than the adult moth that eats cloth... so don't bad moth them...
