Snooker table lights BUILT IN ?????????

I showed the wife the photos as I am well impressed with the completed project. She liked it very much, as she can still see me from the kitchen or the lounging area, or from the garden, so - as you do - we started thinking about things in general, the recent government changes to extension rules, etc, - all was going swimmingly when I said in a half-joking-manner "you know that you wont be able to store anything under the table"...

...anyway - it was not too cold last night in the bus shelter...

Thanks everyone for your comments, the TV viewing is fine , if the rooms being used as a lounge you get a clear view of the TV from all the seats except the one on the opposite wall to the to the TV (under and between the two windows), and then your only missing the top couple of inches. I could lift the light 2 inches more but to be honest its fine sat on the side ones.
For anyone thats interested in any of the build details id be pleased to help, but basically its a rectangle of 11m x 7m externally , with a concrete block and beam floor , rendered concrete block outside and thermalites inside , premade trusses roof , flow screed floor and then just dry linned and skimmed. I had a brick layer for 8 days , plasterer for 4 days , sparky for 1.5 days and a chippy for 2 , the rest I did myself and im no more than keen DIY.
I think the actual build cost me £25-30 K then about 15K inside including the table. In total it took 10 weeks start to finish with about 4 days off for me during that 10 weeks ( I am able to do my paid job at night )

I am looking for lights for a table I am soon having fitted. I have looked into your suggestion of the Dextra Duet lighting and think it's the way to go. Can you comment why you suggest the 2 x 5ft fittings instead of the 2 x 6ft fittings that you have? I am just a little concerned at not getting light to the corners and ending up with shadowing.

It is interresting that this should come up today. Yesterday I bought the two 5' units for my room. Those should be installed today. Then the table can go up.

I believe the two 5foot units end to end and at the recommended height above the playing surface should give you very good lighting to the whole table.

Yes, I have 2 x 5 foot LS1200 units. More than enough to cover the corner pockets.

The louvre displaces more than enough light to cover the playing surface. The two 5ft ones are what you need.

Just make sure they are dead centre of the table and you'll be happy with the resulting light. I guarantee it.
