Weight of cloth

How much does a cloth weigh? I realise they are in different weights according to specification but what does that amount to in terms of total weight?

I'll guess first ... Strachan is around 30oz a yard 76" wide ... say 4 yards or a tad more so 120oz ... 16oz to a lb so around about 7.5 to 8lb in total ... no idea what that is in these new fangled killergranma's or whatever you youngsters call them
