the real value of a b/watts

Anyone got a idea on the real price you could get for this type of table when its had a full refurb ie new rubbers, cloth woodwork taken back to bare and refinished.

As i seen one on ebay at £4500 in mahoganychas snooker stuff 048.jpg

My one has steels,heres a few pictures of parts completed, the legs are a pain to strip down and the cushion tops needed a lot of work.chas snooker stuff 050.jpg

The answer is "as much as anybody is willing to pay you". They are an outstanding table but at present supply seriously exceeds demand and you know what that means as far as prices are concerned. There have been several people selling equivalent tables on here and they have gone for a good deal less than 4,500.

Where you are also makes a difference. Closer to centres of population you will find it easier to sell. Pepole might want to see the goods before they buy and transport costs for a table can be high.

I know its not what they want on ebay it will they will get. I sold a £1800 pool table for £525 I thought it was worth at least £1000 but nobody wanted it.

Iam at the stage that i will have to spent a good bit on the table, so Iam in two mind if it worth it or not.

Also on ebay and similar places there are tables described as "fully refurbished" at a price at which they absolutely cannot have been refurbished in any meaningful sense of the phrase. I suspect they have a new cloth and a coat of translac! Unfortunately the undiscriminating buyer doesn't know the difference and probably doesn't care!

Even if you count your time in at minimum wage a refurbished table has to cost a lot!
