  • Pool table in log cabin

I was just looking at Geoff's website and saw a pool table in a log cabin. It is a lovely idea and I wish the owner well but there is absolutely no way he will ever be able to play in such a limited space unless he uses a chopstick as a cue.

Not the tightest room I have put a table in Phil

I once had to install a full size snooker table into a terrace house double room measuring 21 ft by 10 ft , it had 3 foot at D end in a bay window , 6 foot at spot end but all the furniture was crowded in this Area including a 4 ft fish tank , sofa , and TV .
there was 2 ft down each side , and the 2 rooms dividing wall which was knocked out still had 1ft intruding on each side. so at that point just 1ft on the side for cue room
A year later I got the nod to take it out of the house , I went back and said where's the fish tank ? , you guessed it a ball jumped off the table and the Glass 4ft fish tank imploded and it also took out the TV which was at the side of it .
Just wished I had a Digital Camera with me in those early days of 1980's.

I think the last thing most of us want is anything to add to the challenge! Now something that makes it harder for the other guy would be very welcome.
