Minimum Every 10 hours of use if possible . always put dust covers on when not in use and never drag a dust cover up the nap towards the D , always fold the dust cover up so it is around 18 inch wide in the centre of the table and roll it up from the black spot end like a sleeping bag pulling it down the nap to roll it up , when you want to put it back on simply roll it back down from the D end .
I have seen too many players just drag the cover off and chuck it all crinkled up on a chair or under the table !
Some heavy duty covers will not allow you to roll it , but you can fold it still pulling down from the black spot end .

Match tables sometimes are done twice a day in clubs and some clubs also tend to iron some tables twice a day if they get over used depends how lazy the staff are though which is the case in some well known branded clubs not all though if it has a good manager
Good club's will cover the tables at the end of the day , some even ironing the tables last thing at night as the tables come available on close down and then cover , this makes for less work the next day .

When we had an 18 table hall in Nottingham which is still there as Nottingham Spot on Club , we had our tables brushed and ironed 9 tables a day , and just wiped down the other 9 . we had a pensioner come in early in the morning to do this , the next day the other 9 got the brush and iron and the other 9 got the wipe down . all got the dust cover on every Evening.

The best all round dust cover is the Peradon black fitted light weight type , these are very good and my best seller when I am out and about recovering on Pool and snooker tables . I always try and keep two on my van at all times for full size and 7ft pool tables
