Star Godcovers

Is anyone using the star godcovers they have for the main tour? we have very damp conditions in our club from times to times and i was wondering if they could be useful. as silica gel has to be regenerated at one point, how long do they work?

The cover is filled with little packs of silica gel to prevent getting moisture in the cloth. Wss sell them http://www.world-snooker.co.uk

The problem is that silica gel has to be regenerated at some point.

I regenerate it in my microwave oven. It works really well.

No. Humidity in the snooker room isn't a problem Actually if anything it is too dry. The silica gel to which I referred is actually in my piano.

You can keep reusing silica gel for a long time- maybe for ever, I don't know. What you have to do is just to dry it out. On a hot sunny day you can do it in the sun. A radiator works equally well. You are just evaporating water off.
