Me too Les, I wish there was more of it on here, maybe we could hound Geoff into putting some of his work up, it would be nice to see (like what you are doing) an old table go right through its transformation. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

leave the hooks off until you have finished , any fitter will walk into those hooks when he is levelling or fitting the cloth they could break off and take skin off the fitters and your legs when you slide the slates on .
you want to hear a fitter swear then leave the hooks on and wait until he takes some skin off his shins .
Also putting hooks on the table will also mark the table as you place the rests back on at an angle you bang the rest heads against the frame resulting in frame nibble .
I personally do not like to see frame or cushion hooks on a freshly refurbished table , but it may be that you have holes in the side of the frame for the hooks to bolt through so you may not have a choice
as for photo's of stages of table set up look at this one I have recently done http://gclbilliards.com/full-size-ta...ouse-location/Last edited by Geoff Large; 13 November 2014, 04:30 PM.[/SIGPIC]http://www.gclbilliards.com

This was a late night as I took my old table apart to the slate and organized everything for delivery of my old table tomorrow. Just got back from the shop where a Alex is spraying everything. I picked up the two long sections of the frame. Talk about out of this world grain. Just spectacular as you can see in one of the close up photos. He was in the middle of spraying the final two rails so I got a good action shot.

Looks good thick slate that Les ,edited this as you answered in the above post. Can you play on a table as soon as fitters have finished or do you have to leave it 24 hours or so.Last edited by itsnoteasy; 15 November 2014, 12:33 PM.This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
