pool table refurb - cushions how do i do it

Hi All

I am refurbishing a table that's been outside , when i have stripped off the cloth from the cushions they don't look to good on inspection, if i change the rubber what is the black stuff on the end of the cushion and how do i redo it.

or another thought i had was paying some one to do thats got more experience

any advice appreciated

Looks like you need new rubber. I would get the rails all sanded up and stained and finished and then let some one who knows what they are doing put new Northern Rubber and cloth on.

It's easy. You wrap them in bubble wrap, send them to Geoff Large and then wait for them to come back.
