Nothern rubber

Hi,

I have a question regarding northern rubber.
A fitter who works for world snooker told me that in Northern Rubber there a 2 quality's.
"northern championship moulded" and then there is also the normal northern rubber.

Is this correct?
Just wondering.

i have seen northern rubber championship quality but i never seen the other one, maybe they come on one quality now and the normal was an older model.

Unless this is very recent , then no , my supplier only has one quality of Northern rubber , and it is dated at manufacture

if it has I have never worked on it .

when I worked for Elstons I used to collect the rubber direct from the factory we used to buy it in half dozen sets

then they stopped selling in small quantities and started saying you have to have 100 sets ,

today Northern rubber is owned by Hainsworths and I now get my sets from Peradon one or two sets at a time .

Update on the northern rubber.
I have my cushions rerubberd las monday with new northern rubber. I asked the fitter and he confirmed there's only 1 type of northern rubber for snooker tables.
