New Billiards Room (From start to finish)

Hi guys thought you might be interested in this one. I am building a new home for my son and I have designed the house so that everything works perfect for both a 4-1/2x9' Pool table and a 6x12 Snooker table in the basement. I will post photos as it progresses.

Tables both marked out in the stone.

Many yrs ago when I was a kid , I had to work as a cleaner (I went every day to clean toilets and the floor an that kind of stuff ) to make sum money an pay the table rent to play snooker . Cus My father did'nt give me any money for snooker . I think your Son should be proud of you bud !! You'r a good father .
Sum photo's of the table ( soon as he's finished ) would be nice btw . ( if u have time of crs ).

Thanks Ramon, Austin my son has also been bitten by the Snooker Bug just like his father.... I will be installing the under ground conduit Monday to both tables which then gives him power under both tables. Then they are pouring concrete on Tuesday. Then we can get the rest of the basement framed up electrical roughed in, insulated and ready for drywall.

Hi guys a little update. Concrete is poured and final framing, electrical, plumbing and heating finished by end of next week ready for insulation.

Not really 1,600 sq.ft bungalow. But it helps when Dad is the builder and also plays Snooker....LOL Designed specifically to house both tables with 6' around all sides of both tables. Going to be awesome.

We are installing a Brunswick mid 60's with nice wood on it. Square legs which will be nice as it will match the 4-1/2x9 as it is a Brunswick also.

Heating all roughed in, I will install Pot Lights around the room today for perimeter lighting. Electricians will be there Thursday to rough in electrical then insulation Friday.

How about building in a good de-humidifier Les. That seems to be the main thing with mine in keeping my table at a good speed.

Great idea but my Ex can't afford it...LOL. If I don't have one then she is not getting one... I run two stand alones and they keep my room at 43%.
