New snooker balls

Hi I just got a new set of tournament championship balls from craftsmen cues.
Problem is these balls seem to be marking very easily almost like a kick mark but can't rub them off the ball, any ideas.
My old set where not like this , although I have put a new table up a old b\watts one.

Could well be the pocket leathers marking the balls ??

Was wondering about that they look ok , but they are the antique colour ones that came with the table.
Nightmare as the balls are brand new and cost about £130.

it's the same with my newly cleaned balls. they mark up very easily and i put it down to the pocket leathers at the club. some marks are on so well they need scratching off
