Levelling a snooker table

Sincere thanks to you all for the advice given.
I have now completed the table, and I started by levelling the frame with an engineers level - more or less perfect all round.
I then added the slate, and left for a few days to settle, at which time I brought the slate together, and relevelled by shimming it where necessary. Some of the cross members under the table were not making great contact with the slate and I shimmed these also.
Filled the seams in the slate, sanded and vacuumed.
As of lastnight I have laid the cloth, and am going to leave it a few days before putting on the rails, incase I need to stretch the cloth a little more. Not fully sure the tension I am supposed to have in it, but I cannot pull it with my fingers, and there doesn't seem to be any play in it.
So should be playing snooker before the weekend!
Thanks again,
Ger
