had my burroughs and watts table free of charge from swansea police station, it had been there since 1934 (so the the plaque says) only problem was i had to pick it up myself and it was on the third floor. hard work

Years ago- as in before colour TV when snooker was a very minority activity there were loads of tables to be picked up free if you would move them. Some people actually had to pay to have them removed.
