Oh just realised it's for serious players, probably wanting someone above my level anyway.
I wouldnt put yourself as a player down before you get familiar with the tables the pro’s practice on , thats the advantage they have , more familiarity , once you whittle that down you’ll be surprised who you can beat , arent you in the north east , why dont you give the q house academy in darlington a try.

Northwest Trains, I might give that a try though, but thanks for that never heard of it before.
I travel through to Newcastle for the comps.
Just went and looked this place up, it looks fantastic, a lot of pros seem to go in, looks like it's either Mike Dunns club or he runs it.

            Hi Trains,

What you said is spot on.
You can play on regular club tables for 30 years and then go on a Star table with new cloth and balls and its like never having played the game before.
It does become a more level playing field once gaining exposure to the pro level equipment.

                  Hi Lone wolf

Can you check your language settings in your profile please, this may be breaking as your not set to English, to check this go to profile > account tab > Forum Language and make sure it's set to "English EN"

Then try and quote the same Danger Steve post and see if it works

Indeed , off topic to your thread but as i posted in the global sponsorship thread in the snooker questions sub forum a few months ago world snooker dont to anything to help themselves not giving everyday folk and schoolkids more access and familiarity to pro conditions , i mean whats the point of stephen hendry complaining that ronnie o sullivan didn't get enough credit for winning the worlds after a year off when so few people get any experience in the first place , this thread being a shining example , why shouldnt a major city like manchester have a decent facility to model your game on the pro's , by the way doesn't craig steadman practice somewhere around manchester , perhaps you could get some frames with him , cheers.

yes it looks fine on that quote but if you can just test the one you did before that broke it would be useful, did you have the correct language settings in your profile?

It looks like it's breaking on the ' of I'm so this points to a language setting, I can't recreate it from my testing. So this was why I was suggesting checking your language settings in your profile
