i bet just for fun but only put little stakes on , that and just generally rooting for the underdog most of the time , i think Wilson practices with Ali Carter so thats a big help , i dont think he's any great shakes tbh , Rod Lawler and James Cahill i think are in his quarter , i'd view him as underdog vs Cahill.

I'd agree .....you'd have to slightly favour Cahill .

Good to see Alfie Lee winning again and in to round 3. He was superb at the recent PMK Invitational.

        Dougie.

I think its just a matter of these ' lesser known ' players levelling the playing field becoming more familiar with the conditions , I'd never heard of Hamim Hussain before I watched some of his match yesterday , he's only 21 and looks like a really solid match player , and the Thai that beat Holt is probably based up in Darlington with Thepchaiyah Un Nooh and Hossein Vafaei etc , I wonder are Hamim Hussain and Halim Hussain brothers ?

I see a couple of the unknown Chinese players are scoring well at the moment . Could be a couple of stars of the future .

Kurt Maflin beaten by Andy Lee . Sadly its a bit like The Grand National and jumping Beechers Brook . The ever optimistic Tony Knowles is playing tomorrow I think

Shouldn’t be losing from 3 nil up

Quote not working again , ' Maflin shouldn't be losing from 3 nil up ' , says who , just because it says Lee was 0-3 down on snooker.org ? I only started watching it when Lee was 0-3 down but it was a perfectly deserved win from that point , plus Lee scored more points in the frames that he lost as well, and its not like Lee is just making up the numbers he is a recent former pro so no big surprise really.

Maflin top 32 player on his day , i was going by experience etc in my thinking of why he shouldn't lose from 3 nil up .

I like Lee though , remember him getting through Q School before and following his results

Does anyone know the result or latest score of the Ashley Carty vs Lee Walker match ? I'm waiting for that result to get a five fold accumulator on Carty , Hongyu , Lloyd , Kleckers and Ajaib , will return just over 27/1 , cheers.
edit : damn Walker came back , grrr.

Probably something to do with the score freeze in that match , my edit in post no.26 at 02:43 central euro time on snooker.org was when the result finally came in, i doubt they were out there for 3 hours and 42 minutes.
