Just wondering how it can be called a draw when the Iranians are numbers !!!
Does that mean that the Iranian Federation do not know who is playing for them or does it mean we will pick what group we will put our players in?
If the IBSF allowed this draw to take place without the names of the Iranian players in it then surely this should not be acceptable . As I said in a previous post are they serious or Idiots
I would'nt be suprised if it is North Korea for 2010
You can just see it now...
"The IBSF has put forward Kim Jong-il to be nominated for the 2010/11 Main Tour as World Amateur Champion. Mr. Kim, who by decree annulled all the competition results apart from his wins, hailed the tournament as an incredible success, and praised the effort of the local North Korean players, apart from one unfortunate who finished bottom of his group, and has now been sentenced to seven years in a labour camp for bringing "disgrace to the glorious country and Dear Leader"
We at the IBSF are certain that Mr. Kim will do Asia proud on the Main Tour, as he mentioned something about forcing the entire IBSF board to eat Polonium and to work as his personal servants if we portrayed him in a negative light.
The IBSF is also pleased to announce that bids for 2011 have been submitted, so we can exclusively reveal that Afghanistan, Iraq and Chechnya will be welcoming the world's top amateur stars. All players must provide their own equipment, and the governing bodies have recommended that female players are to wear a burqa at all times during their matches."
18 countries? only one player from Europe? and you call it WC?
Well... actualy it is WC, only different kind of.
There is no one from Europe............
To make groups of 6 they had to use 6 more Iranians.. but still got it wrong as group H now has only 5 players!!
The Aussie lads on the web cam today were saying that at least one player from Libya hadn't arrived either and I still can't work out what is going on with Saudi Arabia, unless they were just late arriving and one of them missed a match.
Although the web cam and it is only a web cam not a proper camera, is extremely poor quality, I haven't seen much to impress me so far.
The only players who might even get close to the Chinese players are the young lads from Thailand...
and to imagine any of the others getting a main tour place... well don't even go there... they'd all get hammered in a Businessland Under 21s!
If you get the chance and they show one of his matches, take a look at young Li Yin from China... I reckon he's going to be the next top youngster to come from China and make an impact...
I vaguely remember saying that back in 2004 about Liang Wenbo!!

They cann't even do PR properly at this stage Janie...
The venue looks top notch but every thing else seems to be a shambles.. taking in more Iranian players to make up the numbers.. There is an old saying "Put silk on a goat and it is always a goat"
