I would love to see Robin Hull win. He was very unfortunate with his career.

No, according to SBil (the Finnish billiards association) he was not able because of something jobrelated.

I see Drago is through to the semis with a convincing 4-0 win inculding some good breaks, you never know we might be seeing drago on the main tour again yet.

through to the final too with another 4-0 !!

It looks like he will be playing either Roy Stolk or Yvan Van Velthoven

It's a funny thing with Drago - he obviously loves playing. But he's openly said he hates Prestatyn. Does he really want to subject himself to another year of qualifiers at that place if he does win back a main tour place.

Yes, I see Tony can still play a bit.. I have to say I don't want Stolk to win it, he was on the Tour a few years ago and couldn't win a match and he's not really a young talent either. Velthoven lost against Drago in their group match 2-0, but they were two very close frames, I guess Tony won them on the blue or pink so that's a tough call.

I'm not sure about that either. He would have to win 5 matches to get to televised stages, that's nearly impossible. It would also mean he had less time to play pool and I think he has a better chance to win international pool tournaments than to reach the last 16 of any snooker tournament.

I guess Drago has been in Prestatyn for the PIOS anyway so if he's going to be there, it may as well be for main tour matches.

Any idea about the other semifinal result? What a shame the Polish site is down! But I think GSC is in Belgium.....

4-2 it is then, looking at how both Drago and Stolk have been scoring it looks like Tony has a great chance.

this was his first event on a full sized snooker table.

he will be entering the pios - and I'm off to learn Portugeuse at evening classes!

Streaming will be available as soon as possible. At the moment they are tryin to arrange for a phone line to be put in so the stream could be uploaded. We have had many and various comms problems here already.

Thanks for that, will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Incidentally I was reading about a strange snooker variant called Sinuca Brasileira which appears to be popular in Brazil.
