Someone is organising a qualifying event at Rileys in Exeter. If anyone lives locally and is interested in taking part then please contact the club for more details.
Was wondering if you knew if there was going to be a qualifying event in Essex. Your'e going to let me know. The Grove still has no mention about it. Im still interested in playing in the event.
I'm pleased to announce we will be holding a qualifying event for the pink ribbon ProAm on Sunday 16th May.
Entry is £20, this covers both the qualifier and the ProAm. For every five players that attend our event one will progress through to the ProAm.
The qualifier will be a round robin format so you will all be guaranteed a good value day of high quality snooker even if you don't progress through to the ProAm.
Would love to attend however this event clashed with the EASB premier tour event 6 which will be held in Derby. The event has been rescheduled because the birmingham venue was not ready> i have paid my entry fee to this competition but our local club The Grove Romford still doesn't know much about it. Awaiting from q promotions where another event is being played.

Hi Ryan,
We haven't heard back from The Grove despite trying on numerous occasions so we are therefore assuming they are not interested in holding a qualifier. We're disappointed as there has been a fair bit of interest from Essex based snooker fans/players. The number of places holding qualifiers is fewer now due to the nearing of the deadline for the draw at the beginning of May. If I hear of a club near you holding a qualifier I will let you know on here.
We can now confirm that the finals weekend, at the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester, will take place between the 17th-20th June as planned. Hope to see you all there!

Hi Sarah.
I'd love to eneter this but my local Rileys club in Leicester are not running a qualifier. Do you know of any qualifiers taking place in the Leicester area at all ?
I'm hoping there will be one at Rushden Snooker Centre (Windmill Club) in Northants. Have given them all the paperwork but have not been over cos Jamie's at PIOS. Will try to find out.

Hi Mark,
We currently don't have a qualifier taking place in Leicester. The nearest to you is probably the one in Leamington Spa that Welshsteve has mentioned in the post below yours. Still not close though! We are in the process of finalising other ways in which to enter which will be announced on this thread asap.

Hi goldengirl,
I will put the details of this on our facebook page also to see if there are any players local to Rushden who would like to enter. I see Jamie's doing well in the PIOS again!
Appologies, just read Rileys Staines (Ali G country) is holding qualifiers
Rileys in Staines are indeed organising a qualifier. It is a member of the club who is organising it though as opposed to the club manager. If you are interested in entering then please PM me your details and I will pass them on to the organiser for you.

A massive thank you to everyone who is supporting this event! Nice to see this thread lively with lots of people helping us to raise as much money as possible for breast cancer charities.
We are delighted and thrilled to announce that Michaela Tabb will be attending the finals weekend of the Pink Ribbon Tournament after she offered her time and services free of charge in order to support the tournament and our campaign to raise as much money as possible for breast cancer charities. We are very grateful to Michaela for her generosity and we hope those who are going to attend the event are as excited about seeing Michaela there as we are at the prospect of welcoming her to the academy!
