Jamie Jones isn't qualified already.
If he were to finish at number one on the Welsh rankings that would come at a later date than the end of the PIOS as they Welsh finals weekend isn't until 22-23 May.
So Jamie will get his place from the PIOS
As of today the only two players currently on the PIOS who have qualified via other routes are Alfie Burden and Jak Jones.

I stand corrected Janie. Thanks for that. I thought the Welsh finished before the pios series ended.

Hi Janie, sorry i dont know if you saw this post earlier?
Does that not mean that if he finishes top 8 on PIOS that he will get PIOS seeding? Am I reading that wrong?

In the event of a player qualifying more than once the selection will be based on chronological order
with the first event in the calendar counting as the qualifying place on the Tour. Seeding will be
based on the highest seeded qualification route regardless of chronological order.

So After quarters it looks like this. It is still going to take a lot to knock Jamie O'Neill out of the top 8 but his place looks a little bit less certain than it did yesterday. However a run to last 32 / 16 in event 8 should get him over the line no matter what other results are.
Alfie moves into top 8 and Justin moves up a few places after his good result. (also moving up the table in Martin who has moved up about 30 places in this tournement).
There are still potentially a lot of people who can qualify with a good run in the last event!!
