Has anybody further information on Event 1? Who will take part? Will there be a Live-Scoring?

Are Pontin's going to be ok to continue supporting snooker and holding tournaments now without the qualifiers being there?

I would imagine that Pontins will struggle to keep the tables in great condition. After all, now that the PIOS and qualifiers have moved, there will only be festivals and these pro-ams being played there. I cannot see them getting much (if any) help from WSA to maintain the quality of the tables.

My guess is they will get a big fat zilch, if previous experience is anything to go by.

its a shame some of the easb events can't be held there i know its a bit of a journey for me but the tables are very good and so are the snooker facilities, better than some clubs we went to last year

Ryan, as Prestatyn is in Wales, it would make more sense for the Welsh Amateurs to be held there! I'm not too sure they would consider an approach from the EASB!!!

But if Gloucester or Sheffield could come up with something, that would be much better.
