Thank you. So the IBSF website has the Syrian, Karam Fatima, named in error instead of Daniel Demsey in Group J?

Mignon Ignore my post. I got the answer on the IBSF website. They're now showing the knock-out draw. There's eight last 64 games to reduce the 40 to 32.
Will be rooting for Robert Carlisle. He plays at same club as me.

Not bad for the Belgians neither. 3 out of 3 to the knock-out stage although only Julius Grauls made it to the last 16 ...

                          Day 8
                          Last 16
Michal Zielinski from Poland took a 4-1 lead against England’s Nick Jennings, with the help of breaks of 50, 52, 57, 92 and 93. But Jennings made an amazing comeback to win the match 5-4 with breaks of 58, 58 and 72. Vincent Muldoon from Ireland had a comfortable win against Campbell Dunlop from Scotland, winning 5-2 with the help of breaks of 53, 76 and 125.
Li Hang of China had a tight match with Michael Leslie of Scotland only managing to win the match in the final frame with a 94 break. Jamie Clarke from Wales also won a final frame decider against Northern Ireland’s Declan Brennan by 5 frames to 4.
Stephen Craigie of England won 5-2 against Li Yan of China which included breaks of 55, 56, 64 and 81. Rhys Clark of Scotland lost against Julius Grauls of Belgium by five frames to four. Sam Craigie had breaks of 55, 62, 68, 90 and 103 to win by 5 frames to 4 against Welsh player Kishan Hirani. Gareth Boyle of Ireland lost 5 frames to 1 in the match against Yuttapop Pakpoj of Thailand.

                          Quarter Finals
Julius Grauls won the first frame. But the Belgium youngster had to sit and watch the next six frames as Englishman Sam craigie had breaks of 53, 62, 65, 69 78 and 102 to progress to the semi finals.
Stephen Craigie of England will meet Sam Craigie after he won a long hard fought match against Yuttapop Pakpoj of Thailand by a single frame by the score line of 6 frames to 5.
Jamie Clarke of Wales was no match in his quarter final against Li Hang of China. The Chinese player had breaks of 61, 63, 73 and 100 and saw the match out by 6 frames to 1 to reach the semi finals.
Vinny Muldoon Started his match playing some fabulous snooker. He won the first frame with an 80 break, then needing a snooker in the second frame, Muldoon put the cue ball behind the black with only the pink and black left on the table. His opponent Englishman Jennings missed the pink and Muldoon sank pink and black to go 2-1 up.
Muldoon then had an 82 in the third to go 3-0 up. Jennings won the next to reduce the gap to 3-1, but Muldoon won the next two to go 5-1 up. Jennings nearly made an astonishing comeback winning two on the trot to reduce the gap to just 5 frames to 4. But Muldoon kept his nerve and managed a frame and match winning break of 82 in the 10th Frame.
So the semi finals will see Sam and Stephen Craigie meet each other, and Li Hang will play Irishman Muldoon for the two final places in the IBSF World Under 21’s Snooker Championship.

If the semi-finals are best of 13, Vinnie Muldoon missed the final. No idea what happened to him -bad day maybe. He was 6-0 down, attempted to hit back but.... 7-3. Li Hang is in the final.

The Craigie tussle is still too close to call. At the moment, it's 5-5.

Not that the people now in charge with updates on the Global-snooker seem to give a damn about the event and I'm very, very sad about that....

Decider. What a game that must be!

I remember the buzz one could feel on that site when Janie was there. Of course, I couldn’t check but I just knew as everybody knew that we were hundreds if not thousands of us fans waiting for the new frame score, being together in that invisible, unpalpable way> being there. I miss that more than I could say.

                            Sam won 7-6.

                              Day 9

                              Semi-Finals

Vincent Muldoon from Ireland met Li Hang from China in the first semi-final .
It was Li Hang who made a great start to this semi final. The first session of 4 frames all went to Hang. The first frame was over in just over 5 minutes, with Hang winning by 71 points to 23. The second frame Li Hang won by 67 points to 16. The third frame saw Hang clear the table with a 105 clearance with the first century of this semi-final match. The fourth Frame Muldoon did not manage to score a point as Li Hang saw out the frame with a 55 break to end the session 4-0 up.
The second session saw Li Hang in the same mood as he won the next two frames by 62-3 and 95-1 to go 6-0 up and only 1 frame away from a place in the final. But Muldoon started to relax with nothing to lose and compiled a lovely 74 break to take his first frame of the match. Muldoon then put together a 53 break to reduce the deficit to 6 frames to 2. The ninth frame saw Muldoon compile a clearance of 122 to win the frame by 134 points to 0 and reduce the gap to 6-3.
The Tenth frame saw Muldoon go for a long red into the pink pocket but he missed the pot and set up Li Hang a chance to win frame and match. Li Hang settled himself and put together a well taken 78 to win the frame by 93 points to 8 and booked himself a place in the Final of the IBSF World under 21’s Snooker Championship 2010.

The Second semi-final saw the Craigie brothers, Sam and Stephen fighting for the other place in the Final. It was Sam who started stronger with a 76 clearance to win the frame by 97 points to 13. Stephen edged the next frame with a point score of 63 to 53. Stephen Craigie composed the first century of this semi final with a 115 break.
Sam then levelled the match at 2-2 with a 63 point to 47 frame. Sam Craigie took the next as well to lead the match again by winning 56-14. Stephen then made his second century with a clearance of 113.
Sam won frames 7 and 8 to take a 5-3 lead, but his brother Stephen came back to win three frames on the trot including a 129 total clearance in the 10th to lead by 6 frames to 5 and leaving himself needing just one more frame to win the match. But it was Sam who had a break of 76 in the 12th frame to leave the semi final going into the final frame decider.
The final frame was to go to Sam by 68 points to 6 and give the 17 year old a place in the final of the IBSF World under 21 snooker Championships 2010.

Any idea when the second session of the final will start? No such info on the IBSF site....

To answer my own question> it has just started!
