Reading your post Janie is it then the case that, had James McBain for example lost his recent match he could get a letter from WSA and play in any remaining NGB events in Scotland, or is it the case that Stevie shut this route?

I know it's late and I remember the situation Stevie refers to but your posts seem contradictory, sorry if it's me.

So it appears both the WPBSA and the NGB's in this case the English are kind of hoping there's a sufficient collective circumvention then.
Slightly off topic the awarding of say 'certified coach' status to coaches is surely possible without granting them pro status?
Is it about the WPBSA and the NGB's getting a slice of the coaching fees? If they dont get any income off coaching fees isnt pro status to any player or coach not on the main tour a little unnecessary?

The EASB certainly don't get any income fropm coaching fees from WPBSA (or indeed any) coaches.
