Hi all.
Just posting on behalf of (and to congratulate) Liverpool's 16 year old English junior international Clayton Humphries who managed to make his first 147 in an actual game yesterday. This milestone was achieved against 14 year old Josh Mulholland, who himself is another up and coming junior champion.
Clayton only picked up a cue for the first time when on holiday three and a half years ago but it was clear from very early on that he was taking to most aspects of the game really quickly. He became Merseyside junior champion only 8 months after he began playing and has since gone on to win the EASB regional tour, three North West regional tour titles, and was unbeaten when representing England for the first time at Prestatyn sands last year.
His break building can be especially strong, and to date he has already compiled nearly 60 centuries.
So..... very well gone Clay, not many players do things like this at your age, and certainly not in such a short period of time.
Cheers.
