A new 26-week handicapped Open Series starts at 1pm next Saturday (September 10) at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club, near Southampton.
Back by popular demand is the special prize for the first century each week – a Freddo.
Entry fee remains at £7. Non-members pay an extra £1. There is no age limit.
Subject to table availability, there is free practice for all players until the final is over.
Most matches are best-of-five with a best-of-three plate for those losing their first game.
Handicaps range from -30 to +30 but are weighted towards the better players.
Top six ranked players after 26 weeks win prize money, which equates to half of all the entry fees.
