FAREHAM Snooker Club has announced a second tournament following their successful and high-quality scratch event in June.
The south coast club will run a one-day competition on Saturday, October 22, the day before the first Cuestars South of England Championship Tour event at Jesters, Swindon.
Entry fee is £25. Closing date is Friday, October 14. This will allow a draw to take place the next day. Players will then be informed of their start times before they travel.
However, organisers will only accept the first 32 applicants.
The £650 prize money, subject to 32 entries, will be split as follows: £350 for the winner, £150 for the runner-up, £50 for the losing semi-finalists and £50 for the highest break of the day.
For more details or to register an entry, call Miki Sinanan on 01329 221759.
June’s event attracted a 31-strong field. In the final, Essex lad Ryan Causton beat his EASB Premier Junior Tour rival Billy Castle (Marchwood) 3-2.
