    Christmas Snooker Tournament

    Date: Saturday 3rd December 2011
    Registration: 10.30am
    Play starts: 11:00am
    Entry Fee: £10
    Venue: Spot On Snooker Club, Bulwell High Street, Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 8HX.
    • All entry fees will be paid out in prize money
    • All competitors will use official NBSA handicaps
    • Format will be round robin groups followed by knockout
    • Free plate competition for non-qualifiers from groups
    • The final will be filmed and broadcast on Snooker TV
    • Ample car parking opposite the club
    • Hot and cold food is served within the club

    New players always welcome - simply turn up on the day!

      Results

      Tom Kerslake (Long Eaton) defeated Nav Hussain (Nottingham) 2-0 in the final of the Spot On Christmas Snooker Tournament to take home the winners trophy and £80 cash. Kerslake was in great form all day, as demonstrated when he made a terrific 111 break.

      Eleven year old Harry Farrell (Leicester) beat Jamie Sampson (Nottingham) 2-1 in the final of the plate competition. This was Farrell's first tournament victory and he took home £20 after a great day's snooker.

      All players were graded 1, 2 or 3. Grade 1 players played off scratch. Grade 2 players received 14 start from grade 1 players and gave 14 start to grade 3 players. Grade 3 players received 28 start from grade 1 players and 14 start from grade 2 players.

      The competition produced some outstanding snooker, the highlights being century breaks from three different players and a career best of 70 by Jordan Parnham which earned him £10.
