I was under the impression that the singles was only for guys registered as part of the teams and couldn't be entered as a stand alone event, at least that's what the organisers were looking at?

The 5th member of the team I was thinking of has got back to me but I don't think he can make it as the team event is held over three days

Janie some people just can not spend 3 days away from home, can we have a event next time where people can enter a event which is just held on one day?
