I quite fancy the individual tournament, if only to have an excuse to play there! I suspect the the level of players will by pie hot however! Opinions on that most welcome!! Cant all be century breakers i suppose?

Yeh, i'm gonna enter the singles, anyone up for getting a team or teams together, more frames to play then, and will get more than the probable 3 frames i'll get in the singles event...lol ...

I would love to be there and play in this but I can't make it. I think it will be a really good event.

Right now I'm planning on the last 3 weeks in April at the SWSA if I can save up the money (and sell a few of the 12 cues I have hanging around here)

What standard of player do you think will be there guys? All top ametuers or a good mixture?

There will be some good players there being a 3k pot....

It will be a good crack, we need a few top end players for a team, don't want to be to mediocre throughout all players in team eh..lol

Hopefully a few members will be up for it and poss have a couple of teams from TSF attend.

I'm in for sure, i'm gonna get my singles payment in soon, and hopefully enter the team comp too.

Just been reading the wensite some more and when you go tot he store to pay the fees i read the following:

''The South West Snooker Academy Open Snooker Festival sees four tournaments in one event, all under the same roof! The Open Tournament is an individual event open to all players competing in the team event.''

So according to that you cant enter the individual open unless you play in the team event? I know we should get a team together but i didnt get that impression from the poster?! Or am i being thick?

When you click on entry form it only gives option for the open event...

I dunno, confused now...

I might join you for morale support (and a few pints !) , but I wouldn't want to play as I don't think I would be good enough.

Wow now Ferret Cally may fancy himself as a bit of a Graham Miles with his waistcoat but i cant imagine me in one .
