  • Kent County Cup pro-am - 11th March 2012 - Jordan's Snooker Lounge, Rainham Kent

This will be my first pro-am that i have entered in just over 2 years. Kind of excited but at the same time nervous which obviously is a good thing to be. My form on the whole of late has been medicore at best, but i fully intend to put in some hard graft a couple of weeks before the tournament and hope to hit some good form on the day. I have really missed the adrenaline rush and the thrill of playing competitively, such as in pro-ams, and at the same time playing against quality opposition.

Was wandering if there any other forum members have entered or who are thinking of entering, if so please post on this thread. Would be nice to meet some of you on the day..

Start a new job on Monday all being well I'll be putting my name down for this comp. See If I can do myself justice this year. Last year I went with a new set up which was OK in practice but fell to pieces on the day.

Think they like you to pay upfront, its only opened to 64 players, last year they had a full house, even though i made my dad go in it, to fill the last place. Its a very good sunday day out.

Got beat in the pro ticket today 4-0 by Craig Steadman, didn't get a look in, in the first two frames. Still, only drove 200 miles for a 7 frame game of snooker. Good job my dad fancied a day out driving up north to Leeds. See if i can do better next week in Coulsden.

Unlucky Ryan keep your sprites up I'm sure your get there in the end. It's a bloody tough game to make any progress in and the further up the ladder you go the harder it gets. You just have to believe in yourself.
