John Redfern did play for us in the end ad Michael locked his cue in the shop and has lost the key!! John won against a tidy player, team lost three two....
des again played well wining the first frame this morning. I had two sniffs at a long pot before my opponent made a half century. 1-1.
liam on now in a scrappy frame.
suraj hasn't turned up so not sure what's going on there.
Surat was in Riley's in Cardiff this afternoon, not sure if he realised he should be there today or if he couldn't get a lift ? He was only there for the U19 yesterday - if it's the same guy of course.
Not quite sure what happened there to be honest. All seemed hunky dory last night but rumours suggested his dad wasnt happy with something or other...no idea!
After John great win he sorted Michael Wasley to play for us in the next game. 128 clearance from him! Awesome!

I have enjoyed playing at the SWSA, the facilities are superb - they have a main arena which I believe can seat 360 people,
which can also be used for seminars, conferences etc. with plenty of free parking.
The tables as expected were tight, a 30 break would equate to a 50 break on a ordinary club table, not too many kicks
but the ambient temperature has been higher, which might have helped. I was told that stunning the ball more would help
to avoid the kicks.
TSF team ... I think you're due to play Perfection at 9:30? When they left they said they weren't coming back because the only way they could win is if West Mids lose, which they thought highly unlikely. Doesn't look like you have a match.
Not a very good attitude from that team I think, a little unsportsmanlike to my mind. Too bad there's not a penalty that can be enforced.

It is a shame, for those who love the sport, a lot of us like me are crap at it but make the effort, I must thank the organisers
they had to cope with 100 or so matches on the first day, with a similar number on Saturday, these guys are the real unsung
heros!
I know the guys from perfection, they play or should I say used to play in the league I played in. I can't say I blame them for not turning up in all honesty, they probably have a little further to travel and for what, just to play a group game that has pretty much already been decided! They said they weren't going to come back so what is the problem? If they notified the relevant organisers then surely its their responsibility to then inform the team they were due to play. If someone had the info and managed to post that on here last night then I'm sure that proves that things were sorted from their perspective.
