Hello.
This Saturday will be the next monthly handicap at Barratts Snooker Club in Northampton. £10 entry and all money is put in the prize pot. The winner usually receives £100. There is a plate competition for first round losers. Players vary greatly in ability from former main tour professional standard to beginners so all ages and standards are welcome. Barratts is also a very nice snooker club with 25 tables and a large restaurant and bar area. It was used for the recent under 21 english amateur qualifying.
So hopefully some of you will brave it and come and have a go. Players are all very friendly

p.s If any of you have children under 16 there is a junior club in the morning from 10-12 which costs £5 for the first session. The youngster then also gets FREE entry into the tournament (if they are of a sufficient standard).
