Since the Snooker League finished a month ago , decided to keep my eye in , by playing in the Thursday night Handicap Tournament at Frames in Coulsdon , Surrey .
Played 3 times in row now . Got to the Semi Final last week and won the final this week . 32 runners at £10 entry plus the prize fund is added to . Never ever thought that i would do as well as i have done .[Must be down to my Robert Osborne cue ]
Very long night .......got home at 4am this morning !!! and up for work at 6am !!!!!!
But just about getting through the day ......A few quid in the back pocket helps
Really great mix of both ages and abilities . A bloke of 83 making the semi's yet again at 1am in the morning
. Don't know where he gets the energy from .
Got to say a big thank you to Tony [ The Owner ] who runs it very well and the handicaps seem very fair and to the Bar staff for keeping us entertained .
The Mrs was none too happy with rolling it at that time though
