  • Any Scottish players interested in amateur tournaments?

There are a series of 6 summer tournaments being held by the Scottish NGB starting this coming Sunday! These are open to non members and could be good for anyone who wants to play competitive amateur snooker in Scotland.

Summer Conference Series Dates 2012 :-

Event 1- Sunday June 3rd The Q Club Charring Cross - First Sunday of the month
Event 2 - Sunday June 17th The Locarno Edinburgh - Third Sunday of the month
Event 3 - Sunday July 1st The Q Club Charring Cross - First Sunday of the month
Event 4 - Sunday July 15th The Locarno Edinburgh - Third Sunday of the month
Event 5 - Sunday August 5th The Q Club Charring Cross - First Sunday of the month
Event 6 - Sunday August 19th The Locarno Edinburgh - Third Sunday of the month

    2009 Conference Champion Scott Dunbar
    2010 Conference Champion Bobby Cruickshanks
    2011 Conference Champion Craig MacGillivray

Prize Money is based on the amount of entries I think. Also it's groups then the top players of the groups play a straight knock out to the final. There is a plate tournament if you get knocked out with a chance to win your entry money back. It's £20 entry and everyone is guaranteed at least 10 frames of snooker. This is what I'm led to believe from reading the Scottish Snooker Forum.
