  • UK League Championships @ SWSA

So I've just got into a team for this, this weekend. Anyone on here playing in it? Teams from all the leagues around the country seem to have entered, should be fun!!

      5 man teams...

      Yeh, Bristol B.

A team pulled out apparently so an email went out to the league's asking if they had enough for another team. Rounded a few of us up and here we are. Its going to be a long weekend mind you, 1 frame each job! Better take a magazine or 10! Plus some food as im not eating sausage rolls and toasties all weekend!

Be a laugh if nothing else. Our best players got stuffed last year so god knows whats going to happen to the team im in!

It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

                All here mate... http://www.leaguesnooker.co.uk/leagu...7&seasonid=456

Ormskirk won in the end. We (Bristol B) lost to them 4-1 but three black ball frames. All very tight affairs generally speaking.

This weekend reminded me what it was like playing for Team TSF up at SWSA. In a word boring. One frame every 4 hours. Not much fun.

Most of the teams were on the **** from start to finish, see like the thing to do!

Have a look at www.leaguesnooker.co.uk and find the league nearest to you, then im sure you will be able to find the league website and find a club to join.

Had a feeling it might be like that, I hope all matches were completed

final was finished before 8pm and presentations done and everyone on their way home. Most people thoroughly enjoyed their weekend, the snooker and the camaraderie with their team mates and the other teams.
