Rules as of ‘English Association of Snooker & Billiards’
Format on the day
Main competition – straight knockout from random draw with 1st round losers automatically entered into plate competition with plate losers entered into Jug competition so guaranteed 3 matches on the day. All rounds are best of 3 with best of 5 in Semi & finals in trophy and plate competitions. Jug remains best of 3 in final.
Dress code – Smart – Trousers, Polo shirts / Shirts
