  • Any Tournaments/Leagues in the Lancashire area

    Hi,

I've picked my old cue up after around 7 years away from the sport, I've only ever played friends and family before but would love to challenge myself and hopefully join a League and play in Tournaments. I did use to be quite a good player my highest break was 53, however this was a one off and i'd estimate my average break to be more like low to mid 20's. I've now been practicing for around 3 weeks since picking my cue back up and considering how long it's been i'm pleasantly surprised (no real big breaks as yet though) Anyway all I want to know really is how do I go about finding and then signing up to a Snooker Team, how much is it and when does the seasons run from??

    Cheers,

    Phil

Most seasons run from Sept to April, or Oct to May. Again, most local clubs will have teams in their regions snooker leagues. A two table club may have one or two sides, a 16 table club will probably have 8 different teams in divisions of differing standards. Have a chat with any players down your local, or the manager, and they'll help you along.
I often use large words I don't really understand in an attempt to appear more photosynthesis.
