Was checking on my 'past yorkshire champions' thread which unfortunately seems to have hit a cul de sac after some encouraging opening replies..but anyway i got to thinking about some of the players that i mentioned, some of which i think have definitely held the title, one in particular being a certain Paul Smith..i remember him being an ace player back in the 80s but he now seems to have disappeared completely from the snooker radar and just wondered if anyone out there who knows/knew him and whether he still plays at all? I have a few sketchy details on a few other players from around the same time..i.e Alan Trigg i think still plays at Horsforth cons last i heard and did a bit of coaching too..think Paul Cavney was into buying and selling diamonds a few years back according to a mate of mine..anyway i will leave it with you all to see what you come up with.
