Handicap Snooker Comp - Thursday Nights @ Frames Sports Bar

Sort of a re-launch of the regular Thursday night snooker competition at Frames Sports Bar in Coulsdon , Surrey .

For those that have never been , the Club has 16 Snooker tables , 10 Pool tables , large bar area with food available and shows all sports on 3 large Tv's and a massive projector screen !

There is also a large Car Park at the rear which is Free after 6pm .


The owner [ Tony ] is taking the running of the competition back over and this should hopefully generate a decent turn out of players' each week .

It's a very well run handicap system as well . No bandits !


Competition starts at 8.30 pm every Thursday and the Entrance Fee is £10 . The loser pays for the table .

TSF Members' are always welcome and make yourself known to Tony if you are from here and have not been down before .

Hope to see some of the regular TSF Members' who usually play in it down there .

Great club with excellent tables. Tony is very welcoming and the snooker handicap competitions are fair and well run with lot's of runners. Will be playing and entering the comps soon once I'm less busy.

BTW, saw Marco Fu there practising on the Star match table used in the worlds in 2011.

Nice one Ken , we played at bit of phone tennis earlier this week , would be great to see your TW Cue again.....er.....i mean you of course !!!

Yeah Marco plays down their , as does Tony Drago , Michael Georgiou and a few others . Nigel Bond popped in last week on the way down to Portsmouth for the World Seniors for a few frames on the Star table .


Forgot to mention : Depending on the amount of runners' , the prize money is added to by Tony . So more runners = more money in the pot .

Yep......that's it . What i mean is that Tony really knows what he is doing with sorting out peoples' handicaps .....and it is done very fairly .
