Amateur tournaments

Q. Hi all is there any amateur tournaments in the uk during 2014 advertised anywhere?
I have looked online and the only one i can find is a pro am in april at the northern snooker centre in leeds
Years ago there were a lot about in wakefield birmingham, leicester leeds pontins etc
Even though my standard at present isnt great i would still like to participate in order to improve my game.
If anyone has a website link or list that would be great

I think Leeds and Birtley have them quite regular nowadays, my mates go to quite a few. You could try asking Stu at Greenbaize, he might get to hear about them http://greenbaize.co.uk/
