Big pockets and slow cloth. But it is a better production than seen anywhere else other than the pros. They must have sponsors with deep pockets. Also quite an audience

it is not that size of the pockets but the slowness of the cloth that might be tricky.

The pockets looks almost two ball widths wide. It must be tough for them to play on a normal table after playing on that 12ft pool table.

I think you guys are far overestimating your own ability on the table. Would really like to see you fully dressed up with bow tie and everything and playing well in front of an audience. Yes, even on those huge pockets.
Fair enough, those guys are not pros, nowhere near in fact, but they deserve respect. I very much doubt that more than 0.03% of this forum would play any better under the same circumstances. Please tell me I'm wrong.
I would even go as far as to say that most Internet/forum/youtube/keyboard warrior snooker critics could probably not dish a rack of 9ball on biggest pocket US pool table.

looks like its normal french and they are playing with smaller balls than the rest of us do, hence pockets appear to look bigger

It is an euphemism to say that not much people care about snooker in France so it's even surprising to have a french national championship.
