    Pro-am in Stoke-On-Trent Tomorrow! Sunday 25th May

    Hi all. There is a Pro-am at Plaza Snooker and Pool club tomorrow at Fenton, ST4 3NA. 11am Start. £15 entry with a plate. This is a scratch knockout with the exception of main tour giving -14 and ex pro -7. Hot and Cold food available. This club has just had most tables recovered so conditions should be quite good to say the least.

    The event ran pretty well with 20 in attendance. I had hoped that some of you lot on here might have been interested in 'playing' as opposed to typing! Oh well...maybe next time! this being the 15th June.
    The final featured Liam Highfield and Joe Jogia, who split the money! Losing semi-finalists were Simon Seabridge (me) and James Rhodes. The plate was won by Brandon Sergeant against Pete Antrobus.
    There were 3 centuries made during the day plus many many 50+ breaks. The tables have all but two, been recovered and match balls are used so this is well worth a visit!!!

                Hi tedisbill. The format on the day was 4 groups of 5 due to the number of entries. These were 3 frames played with the top 2 going into the quarter finals of the main. Hopefully we will attract 32 plus entries next time, in which case all matches will be best of 5's!
                The knockouts are 'non' handicap as these have created problems in the past! However, ex pro's are -7 and main tour -14.
                Hope a few on here can make the next one!!!
