Congrats Terry, Terry has won his first two matches. Should give him a very good chance at making into the Elimination around.

The video quality is particularly good this year. The way they had set it up in previous years made you think the Shooters Bar was in the 3rd basement of a very dodgy place (which is obviously not the case).

I'm going to a wedding in Toronto in July -- I'll try to check out this place (there and the new place that is about to open in Scarborough).

Where do you play in Ottawa? Orange Monkey?

The picture quality is very good this year compared to
some I have seen. The pockets seem fairly generous.
Yes the Orange Monkey seems to be the only pool hall
that has snooker tables (6 Dufferin tables). Sadly snooker
                is dying in Ottawa.

I was having withdrawal symptoms with the site down for 2 days or so.

I won all 3 of my round-robin matches, 4-0, 4-2, 4-0 and I will be playing in the last 16 tomorrow morning at 11am Toronto time (1600 BST) but I don't know who my opponent is as that will be a random draw tonight and don't know which table as yet so probably won't be on the streamed table. That will probably be Floyd Zeigler's match or maybe Alan Whitfield (who had a 124 on day 2 and has the high run so far).

With the high humidity we had the tables are starting to slow down a bit and I played today on #20 which is in the back corner and it had really slowed down a lot. Made it tough going to get any breaks. So far my high break is 60-something so maybe I can improve on that tomorrow if they block and iron the tables.

Thanks for all the good wishes.

Hi Terry I am going down on Friday to watch so play well tomorrow and I will see you Friday. Good Luck. I will check out the draw later tonight. You should get a good draw seeing how you will be seeded in the top 8.

Well done Terry. Good luck tomorrow.
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

                          Good luck Terry!!
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                          I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

The tables have started playing really slow plus the cushions all react differently so it's tough although I'll admit I didn't play well but I did play well enough to win. My next match will undoubtedly be a lot tougher. I don't know who I'll be playing until I check back again tomorrow morning as there are still 4 matches to play at 9pm to decide second place in 4 of the groups and I could play any one of the 4.
